Essential Job Duties: This position will solely be responsible for tapping into new business in the city and feeder cities. Ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded by soliciting NEW business. Develop NEW business and maximize revenue while building relationships to ensure long-term growth and success. Negotiate room blocks, room rates and hotel services. Confirm in writing to client and all affected hotel department all group requirements. Entertain clients Proactively network and join committee participation in outside organizations to identify new business opportunities. Conduct site tours of the hotel Provide communication to Managers on client feedback, sales opportunities and revenue reports. Provide proactive guest service and timely follow up that meets or exceeds company standards.
